There’s this little neighborhood joint. Serving up some of the finest fried chicken around. You might’ve walked past the place once or twice - maybe, you’ve even heard of it.

When COVID-19 hit, the world stopped for many. But for essential workers including Uber drivers, they were responsible for keeping the world moving. As a company built on movement, Uber took a bold stand by asking riders to stay home and thanked them for not riding. Working with directors, filmmakers and creatives alike, we asked them to film and share what their new lives looked like under quarantine.

With the release of Uber Comfort, we put the power back in consumers’ hands, allowing them to control temperature, dictate conversation, and stretch their legs with extra legroom. In addition to a launch film for broadcast, we wanted potential users to experience some real life Comfort, while also educating them on our new product - so, we created the Uber Comfort Club at O’hare Airport in Chicago.
The campaign objective was to create a buzz to grow product awareness, spark engagement, and drive first-time trial, specifically at airports, during the busy holiday season.

When COVID-19 hit, the world stopped for many. But for essential workers including Uber drivers, they were responsible for keeping the world moving. We wanted to not only show what Drivers day-to-day lives had become, but ask (or demand) Riders respect their efforts and health by wearing masks.

We had a great idea to increase one to one engagements with consumers: celebrating rave reviews of the Signature Crafted Sandwich line, by recreating consumers tweets or comments in hand-lettered builds using stills, stop motion, and gifs. Tonally, we wanted to reach consumers not as a global organization, but a relatable brand with classic style. We asked our food artists to consider aesthetics from commercials and in-store signage: split screens, rich backgrounds, emoji related work, and atmospheric lighting.

One of our major tasks for Sprint was an update of their corporate-owned stores with a gut-rehab redesign. More than just a remodel, every element in the store was evaluated and designed for maximum impact. This included a 12 day library shoot, where we captured over 20,000 images (images captured are featured here). The challenge was to design a clean, modern store which could display product and allow the consumer to interact in new ways, all while remaining timeless. The first two prototype stores were developed in Columbus, OH & Palo Alto, CA.
