Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Otto Linwood III has never been one to put himself in a box. His 17 year, award-winning career in advertising has focused on building, leading and contributing to a host of departments including integrated production, business affairs, content studios, program/project management, account management, operations, and new business.
Otto’s career began in experiential marketing, traveling the country for a year promoting the Verizon NFL Mobile App. Coming into the office as an Account Executive, he moved to New York to help Marketing Werks open their first remote location. A few years later, Leo Burnett was calling his name, so he moved back to Chicago and began as a Senior Project Manager on the Sprint business. Since then, he has gone on to lead and produce work on world renowned brands such as P&G (Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide), Miller-Coors (Walton Isaacson), Kmart (Havas), Mike's Hard Lemonade (Havas Annex), McDonald's (We Are Unlimited), and Uber & Uber Eats, leading the in-house creative production team at their headquarters in San Francisco.
Most recently, Otto has assumed the role of Head of Production, Operations and Studio at Whirlpool Corporation’s in-house agency. Building the 150 person shop from the ground up, his responsibilities include integrated production, program management, resource management, business affairs and a full studio production team, who primarily works out of a 50,000 square foot studio in Benton Harbor, Mi.
As both an agency and brand leader, and a true production craftsmen, Otto is a jack-of-all-trades, expert relationship builder, and always finds a way to get it done at a high level.
